An Aztec's point of view
On the saturday of 1519, an embassador from mexico arrived. We sacrafices some human bodies as a gift to our gods and to please them. During that ceremony, a boat came to our land andstrange white men steped into our city. Their leader could be Quetzacoatle coming for revenge and conquering our Aztec Empire once again. A war had begun. There were 300/400 Indians helping those conquerers, which we now know those Indians as traitors. These whites fought with sticks that spit out fire and they rode deer. This event was very wierd for an Aztec's eyes especially our leader Montezuma. Montezuma was very worried that Quetzacoatle would come and redeem his thrown.

Lutheranism and the Princes
In the time of Martin Luther,Lutheranism and his 95 theses appealed greatly to the princes.They liked it for many reasons. We will talk about these reasons later on.It also helped then in their way of ruling.
First of all,it let them gain more land by shutting down the monasteries.While they gain more land they posess more stuff so there finance increases.This leads you to become more rich and more powerful.Which was at that time all a prince's desire.
Second of all,it makes you free from political control.There, they started appointing their own ministeres.This lead tp the decrease of power struggles and soon the government became greater than the church.The country started to be secular.
Third of all, there was no diverting revenues.That's how there was no ecclesiastical taxes.That meant that the princes will collect the money to theirselves.The taxes had a great affect on the princes and made them richer and wealthier than they already are.
Lastly, it stated that the Catholic Church is wrong.It said that having faith in god is what puts you in heaven, not good deeds.It also said that Jesus is the leader of the church not the pope.Even indulgences were said to be sinful. Therefore, the princes wanted to save there souls and everybody wanted to avoid then souls from entering the gates of hell.
